The Cup Cube art installation marked the launch of the Cup Fund. This project was launched by Hubbub and Starbucks to raise consumer awareness about cup recycling. The black cups illustrate that only 4% of cups on the market in the UK are currently recycled.

The project is high profile and focuses on consumer engagement. It is a great complement to our scheme and reflection on the wider action that industry is taking to increase cup recycling. 

A few weeks later the cube received an unexpected form of interaction with passers by writing their own positive messages to loved ones and about protecting the environment!
