DS Smith Launch Cup Collection Box
DS Smith are a partner paper mill to the National Cup Recycling Scheme. In 2018, after a series of trials DS Smith announced that their paper mill in Kent has the capacity to recycle up to 2.5 billion coffee cups each year.
The Solution
DS Smith have now launched a solution to help with the challenge of collecting cups to be recycled: the Coffee Cup Drop Box. Made from 100% recycled materials, DS Smith's Coffee Cup Drop Boxes can hold up to 700 used cups, and once full, DS Smith collect the boxes in conjunction with Royal Mail Relay and take it to our paper mill for recycling. This is a great contribution towards growing cup collection infrastructure. The Drop boxes are available to businesses of all types and sizes across the UK. You can purchase a box here.
